1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Connect I.T E.E ("Connect I.T E.E", "we", "us", or "our") is the developer and publisher of Hospital Shift and the data controller for the information we decide to process within it. We are based in Xanthi, 67100, Greece. This policy applies to Hospital Shift, its online multiplayer features, and this privacy-policy page.
Epic Games separately controls information it collects through Epic Accounts, the Epic Games Launcher, Epic Online Services (EOS), and its own websites. Epic's processing is governed by the Epic Games Privacy Policy.
2. Information involved when you use Hospital Shift
Epic Account and EOS identifiers
When Epic Account sign-in is enabled, Hospital Shift may receive the identifiers and basic profile information needed to authenticate you and provide multiplayer, such as an Epic Account ID, EOS Product User ID, public display name, and authentication/session status. We do not receive your Epic password or payment-card information.
Multiplayer and session information
To create, find, join, secure, and operate cooperative sessions, the game processes:
- public session name, availability, player count, capacity, compatibility version, and lock status;
- EOS session and connection identifiers;
- your public display name and in-game role as visible to other session participants;
- gameplay actions and synchronized hospital state required to run the multiplayer match.
If a host uses an optional session password, the plaintext password is not shown in the public session listing. It is processed transiently to prepare a validation value for the host and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Local settings and progression
Hospital Shift may store settings and game progress locally on the relevant computer, including input preferences, hospital progression, inventory, equipment placement, and shift results. The session host may synchronize gameplay state with connected players. Connect I.T E.E currently does not operate a separate cloud database for this progression.

If you contact us, we process the contact details, message, and any diagnostic information you choose to provide so that we can respond and investigate the issue.
This website
This static page does not set cookies and contains no advertising or analytics code. The hosting provider may maintain standard security and access logs, such as IP address, request time, and browser information, under its own operational and legal obligations.
3. Why we process information
We process the limited information described above to:
- authenticate players and provide the online cooperative game;
- create, discover, join, protect, and maintain multiplayer sessions;
- synchronize gameplay and preserve locally stored game progress;
- prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and maintain the security and integrity of the game;
- respond to support requests and comply with applicable law.
For users in the European Economic Area, our legal bases are performance of the service requested by you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interests in operating and securing Hospital Shift (Article 6(1)(f)), and compliance with legal obligations where applicable (Article 6(1)(c)).
5. Retention and international processing
Temporary session information is retained only for as long as needed to run or secure the relevant session. Local settings and progression remain on the applicable computer until they are deleted, overwritten, or the game data is removed. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations.
Epic retains and processes Epic Account and EOS information according to its own privacy policy. Epic and other technical providers may process information outside Greece or the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in their applicable policies and required by data-protection law.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
For information controlled by Connect I.T E.E, contact us using the address below. For Epic Account or EOS information controlled by Epic, use Epic's privacy controls or contact Epic directly. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
7. Younger players
Hospital Shift is not designed to independently collect children's account information. Epic Account age requirements, Cabined Accounts, parental controls, and parental-consent mechanisms may apply when a younger player uses Epic services. Parents or guardians can review Epic's dedicated privacy information and contact us about information controlled by Connect I.T E.E.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Hospital Shift. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Please protect your Epic Account and do not reuse or share session passwords.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Hospital Shift's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice where required.
